I have removed the post regarding metro extension till Mehraulli; as it is Misleading. This is on GDA website, but is nowhere in any of the upcoming metro plan. In fact Metro till Noida 62 is still in initial phase. Till the time any formal announcement is done, dont expect Metro till Mahagunpuram.
GDA Website is an authentic website of Government. If Metro Extension till Mehrauli is there in GDA's Website, then there is something concrete in the Metro Extension from Vaishali to Mehrauli via Indirapuram. You should tell GDA officials by writing letter to remove this Metro Extension upto Mehrauli from Vaishali from their Website if it is nowhere in any of the upcoming metro plan.
@Anand, Do you really think that GDA [or any Govt agencies] even bother to update their website... These websites are usually created by NIC, and content is provided by departments. So, don't expect a timely update of the piece of information. I dont deny that GDA/Govt never thought about bringing Metro till Meharaulli.. but now it is in "COLD BOX". We may have metro till meharau;;i, but only after Dilshaad Garden-Arthala, Vaishali - New Bus Adda, Noida City Center-Indirapuram Metro.. and sighting the pace of Govt work and cost of construction, I believe wait for 10+ years for that.
