I think this is not going to solve the problem as Mr. Vineetji or Mr. Narenderji or anybody else has suggested. (My intention is not to hurt anybodies sentiment)

Why the college will take any action on the students. This is non of the Colleges'/institutions' business. What students are doing in their personal life or out of the college campus is out of the purview of the institution/college concerned.

I think the flat owners who have rented their flat should take a cue (from all these mischievous activities of their tenants) at their own and strictly warn them for kicking out of the flat. One more thing, which I feel very strongly is that there is not such a huge dearth of college students as tenants. There are many students, studying in nearby colleges/institutions who are very much civilized and come from a very humble family. Actually the flat owners (who have kept such nasty tenants) are jeopardizing the interest of the ladies and children, living in the Mahagunpuram society knowingly/unknowingly. The owners without wasting much time in blogging and suggesting ideas from the peace of their mind should come forward and take suitable step.

I am not against anybody, nor I am a broker. I only feel that atleast our people living in Mahagunpurm in lush greenery of the the surroundings may live in tranquility.

I 100% agree with the same.. What I suggest, we should involve the institutions, where these students are studying, also while giving them the house on rent. Something like a recommendation letter from the individual's institute may be asked for before renting out the flat, with a clause that if these students will misconduct in the society the concerned institue will also take the disciplinary action against them.

I think issue quite is genuine. There is two side of the coin. one
side resident who reside in the society with their families and want
to stay with dignity. Other side who gave their flats on rent. As you
all will agree demand of flats is minimal from families hence perforce
owners are giving it to the students. Of course some students may be
creating nonsense but all may not be so since most of them are
engineering students from reputed institutes. I think it is mandatory
to give details of tenants to the maintenance office. Some guidelines
may be drawn to restrict the nonsense but we should not stop students
as tenants otherwise it will hamper the interest of the owner who
invest such large amount.There must be a solution which should be
acceptable to all. We may overcome this problem with the help of
security and maintenance staff. Security staff may be utilized to deal

This sounds good to me. As per my last week meeting at maintenance dept..things have already been recorded and very soon we will have some right protocol in place to tackle this matter smartly.

Meanwhile request you all plz keep your eyes open on this matter and anytime you witness any nuisance in any flat or outside get in group of 2-3 members and immedietly talk to the guys who r really resposible for the things which should not be done. This weekend I am planning to get the details of all college students who are in vidhi.

I agree with Mr. Jindal. Some students might be causing trouble to residents but we should not blame all. In my point of view making a ban on students is not a feasible solution, I have few suggestions which can be useful in controlling this problem, respected members can consider and implement the suggestions if found suitable:

1. Maintenance Department should have contact numbers/email of all flat owners, In case if any tenant is making nuisance, flat owner should be intimated immediately.

2. There should be a rules and regulation list, which need to be followed by all society residents. In can if any flat occupant is violating the rules, tenant should be warned and flat owner should be intimated. and in case of repeated incident, flat owner should get flat vacated.

3. As a temporary resolution, if in any flat students are making noise late night, on receiving complaint, maintenance department can cut their electricity supply, which can be restored next day only after taking written apology.

anybody however big or small may be should not be allowed to disturb the privacy and peace of others living in the society. One can make complain to police or other for noisy scenes being made by anybody whether these are students or others. But we should not target only students. There are students who have come for sincere study and living in peace. some students are making disturbing does not mean that all students are bad

Somebody staying on rent does not make him small with respect to others. I request everybody to have this sensitivity and respect in mind before addressing this issue which am sure is there...

However as arvind ji has highlighted, any activity that disturbs the order and discipline should be addressed in the approriate manner.

For tenents the fair way would be to approach there owners , many may not be aware of the situation.

In that case we can inform police, after 10 nobody can shout / play loud music. What was the outcome of Sundays meeting, I was not able to join but will join coming Sunday. Also my suggestions is to make list of houses where students are staying and send letters to their respective owners regarding this menace, we will let them know that they are disturbing others destroying our property, n writing foul languages in lift.

This is completely unacceptable, and we standby each other in this cause.
