REQUEST FOR UPSRTC/DTC BUS ROUTE FROM MEHRAULI RAILWAY STATION, NH-24, GHAZIABAD (UTTAR PRADESH) TO SHIVAJI STADIUM, CONNAUGHT PLACE, DELHI/NEW DELHI RAILWAY STATION AND BACK AND BUS STANDS AT VARIOUS PLACES ALONG NH-24.
1. Kindly refer to my e-mail requests dated 3rd January; 13th December, 2013; 23rd November, 2013; 1st November, 2013; 29th September, 2013; 18th August, 2013; 20th July, 2013; 24th June, 2013; 3rd June, 2013; 14th May, 2013; 1st May, 2013; 21st April, 2013; 15th April, 2013 and 8th April, 2013 on the above subject. I am, once again, requesting for the same.
2. Also, kindly refer to INTERIM E-MAIL REPLY dated 4th May, 2013 received from armfgzb@upsrtc.com on the above subject. The details of the INTERIM REPLY (no time frame has been given by UPSRTC for starting the above Bus Route) are as under :-

आपकी मेल दिनांक: 01.052013 के सन्दर्भ में आपको यह अवगत कराना है कि वर्तमान प्रणाली मे उ0प्र0 परिवहन निगम गाजियाबाद क्षेत्र नगर बस संचालित नही कर रहा है। जिस कारण से आपके अनुरोध पर वर्तमान में विचार करना सम्भव नही है। यदि भविष्य में जब कभी उ0प्र0 परिवहन निगम गाजियाबाद द्वारा नगर बस संचालित की जायेगी है तो आपकी समस्या पर विचार अवष्य किया जायेगा।

3. The above INTERIM REPLY dated 4th May, 2013 sent by UPSRTC as per Para 2 above has not given any time frame for starting the above Bus Route. Kindly give time frame for that for which we all will be highly grateful to you.
4. Also, a Bench of Chief Justice N V Ramana and Justice Pradeep Nandrajog of the Delhi High Court in September, 2013 on a PIL filed by a resident of Vaishali, Ghaziabad (Shri Mohan Singh) regarding allowing Public Transport on NH-24 between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh [News article published in The Time of India dated 20th September, 2013 : "PIL SEEKS CITY BUSSES ON NH-24 : Link – http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/PIL-seeks-city-buses-on-NH-24/articleshow/22774932.cms] directed in their interim order as under :-
"Direct the Respondents (State Governments of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh) to undertake the process of reviewing the list of routes under the Reciprocal Common Transport Agreement, 2008 keeping in view the development of residential colonies in Ghaziabad".
5. In the past many years, scores of major Housing Projects have been completed along NH-24 corridor starting from UP Gate, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to Mehrauli Railway Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
6. Millions and millions of residents have started residing in these housing projects. Some of the Areas are "Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad; Sector 62 and 63, NOIDA along NH-24; Siddhartha Vihar Yojana, NH-24, Ghaziabad; Crossing Republic, NH-24, Ghaziabad; ABES Engineering College, NH-24, Ghaziabad; Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad; Ashiana's 'Golf Link'/Landmark, NH-24, Ghaziabad; Mahagun's 'Mahagunpuram, NH-24', Ghaziabad; Ansal's 'Tanushree, NH-24', Ghaziabad; ongoing Wave City, NH-24 (4500 acres project), Ghaziabad etc.
7. To overcome the transport needs of millions and millions of residents along NH-24 Corridor, you are, once again, requested that the proposed above UPSRTC Bus Route from Mehrauli Railway Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh via Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to Shivaji Stadium, Connaught Place, New Delhi/New Delhi Railway Station and Back may please be started to mitigate the hardships being faced by millions and millions of residents residing along NH-24 Corridor which will benefit millions and millions of residents along NH-24 (UPSRTC WILL ALSO BE BENEFITED IN REVENUE TERMS) for which millions and millions of residents would be highly obliged to you.
8. BUS STANDS IN FRONT and OPPOSITE SIDE OF NH-24 OF MAHAGUNPURAM, NH-24 MEHRAULI, GHAZIABAD, UTTAR PRADESH. At present, there are many Busses plying from Delhi to Hapur, Nainital, Kanpur, etc and Back along NH-24, Ghaziabad in front of Mahagun Puram Gate, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Concerned authorities may please be instructed for making Bus Stands on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad in front of Mahagun Puram Gate, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad for the benefit of the residents of Mahagun Puram Housing Project (Mahagun Group's Housing Project), NH-24, Ghaziabad; Tanushree Housing Project (Ansal Group's Housing Project), NH-24, Ghaziabad and Entrance Gate of Wave City (Hi-Tech City : 4500 acres project)), NH-24, Ghaziabad because all the three Housing Projects are adjacent to each other.
9. AT LEAST FOR THE TIME BEING TILL THE REQUESTED BUS ROUTE IS STARTED/BUS STAND IS MADE, INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES MAY PLEASE BE ISSUED TO STOP THE BUSSES WHICH ARE ALREADY PLYING FROM DELHI TO HAPUR, NAINITAL, KANPUR, LUCKNOW, ETC AND BACK ALONG NH-24 AT THE MAHAGUNPURAM GATE, NH-24, MEHRAULI, GHAZIABAD.
10. In view of the above, it is requested that instructions to the concerned may please be issued for making Bus Stands on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh so that the Busses already plying on NH-24 from Delhi to Hapur, etc. and Back (till the above requested Bus Route is started) can also stop at the following places :-
(a) Mahagunpuram Gate, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad;
(b) Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(c) Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(d) ABES Engineering College/Crossing Republic, NH-24;
(e) Vijay Nagar Bypass, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(f) Siddhartha Vihar, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(g) Sector 63, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(h) Sector 62, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(j) CISF Crossing, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(k) Sarojini Naidu Marg, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(l) Gaur Green City, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad; and
(m) UP Gate Police Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad.
11. There are Bus Stands already there made by the concerned authorities on the side of Delhi along the Bus Route requested from Mehrauli Railway Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium, Connaught Place, Delhi/New Delhi Railway Station and Back.
12. In view of the above, you are, once again, requested to start negotiations afresh between U.P. Roadways and DTC for the proposed UPSRTC Bus Route from Mehrauli Railway Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium, Connaught Place, Delhi/New Delhi Railway Station and Back so that this route could also be compromised between U.P. Roadways and DTC. Bus Stands may also please be got made at the twelve places as mentioned at Para 10 (a) to (m) above. By sanctioning this Route/Bus Stands, you will help millions and millions of residents along NH-24 Corridor for which they all would be highly obliged to you.
