SEWER CONNECTION / PROPER DRAINAGE SYSTEM FOR MAHAGUNPURAM, NH-24, MEHRAULI, GHAZIABAD – 201002, UTTAR PRADESH.
Registry and Physical Possession of the Flats by the residents of Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad – 201002, Uttar Pradesh had been done with effect from NOVEMBER, 2012 onwards and majority of the residents have done their Registry and taken Physical Possession of their Flats by MARCH, 2013 by paying all the Payments/Charges/Taxes, etc due to be paid by them to all the concerned Agencies {including Mahagun India Private Limited (Mahagun Real Estate Private Limited) [Builder]; Central Government, State Government of Uttar Pradesh; etc}.
Also, our MP-AOA [Mahagunpuram Apartment Owners Association, Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad – 201002, Uttar Pradesh] had been got registered with the Competent Authority in DECEMBER, 2013.
One of the resident of Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad has also requested as under :-
"STP Water Disposal out from Mahagunpuram Campus. GDA has no plan yet for Sewer Pipeline in Mehrauli Area. Where to approach is also not clear. Whether GDA or Nagar Palika or to whom. Currently, Dirty Water Disposal is getting managed through tractor tanker (trolly). But, due to that, full day tractor tanker (trolley) runs inside the Society Campus. It is really a major concern as Phase II is also coming up. Please start thinking on this matter as well".
The above problem is due to no Sewer Connection / Proper Drainage System for Mahagunpuram. This problem will get aggravated in future if Sewer Connection / Proper Drainage System is not installed at Mahagunpuram at the earliest.

(b) The U.P. Jal Nigam is a Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of U.P. Jal Nigam is the apex body responsible for formulation, execution, promotion, financing, fixing tariffs etc., for implementation of water supply, sewerage, sewage treatment and disposal, river pollution abatement projects etc., including fixing State Standards for water supply and sewerage services.
One of the functions entrusted to U.P. Jal Nigam in the year 1975 was to assess the requirements for manpower & training in relation to water supply & sewerage services in the state.
Regarding Sewerage connection, following are the services of the Jal Nigam :
(i) The preparation, execution, promotion, and Financing the schemes for the supply of water and for sewerage and sewage disposal.
(ii) To review annually the technical, financial, economic and other aspects of water supply and sewerage system of every Jal Sansthan or local bodies which has entered into an agreement with the Nigam under section 46.
(iii) To render necessary service in regard to water supply and sewerage to the state Govt. in local bodies on request to private institution or individuals.
(iv) To establish and maintain a facility to reviews and appraise the technical, financial, economy, and other pertinent aspect of every water supply and sewerage scheme in the state.
(v) To prepare State plans for water supply, sewerage and drainage on the directions of the State Govt.
(vi) To operate, run and maintain any water work and Sewerage system, if and when directed by the State Govt., on such terms and conditions and for such period as may be specified by the State Govt.
(vii) To establish state Standards for water supply and sewerage services.
Jal Nigam Board consist of a Chairman appointed by the State Government besides the members specified in sub-section (2) of the Water Supply and Sewerage Act 1975".
In view of the above facts, it is requested that our MP-AOA should take up the matter with the concerned authorities {Mahagun India Private Limited (Mahagun Real Estate Private Limited) [Builder]; Municipal Corporation of Ghaziabad (Nagar Nigam Ghaziabad), Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Ghaziabad Jal Board, etc. so that Sewer Connection / Proper Drainage System should be installed for Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad at the earliest and no further delay should occur in this regard as we all have paid all the Payments/Charges/Taxes, etc due to be paid by us to all the concerned Agencies.
