Re: [Mahagunpuram] Fwd: Mobile network related in Mahagunpuram

Dear Vishal,

Agree with your concern and this is very much genuine because that was mine too ...we are just trying to resolve the issues and do not want to compromise with the health of my dear residents including you. Dear this is just only one of the proposed solution for the evaluation purpose , we can also suggest them for the changes.

·         WHO, have adopted science-based safety guidelines specifying radio wave exposure limits. The limits have been set to provide protection .( page .9)

·         Mobile phone radiates as well as receives microwave radiation when we are in a conversation.

·         There is no plan for proper BTS tower , we are trying for only inter building solutions (IBS).

·         Our mobile will interact with omni antena.

In micro wave antenna Vodafone is following the specified limit/frequency (RFR/SAR level) .we use the same waves in our routine usage. We have already forwarded all the concern to the Vodafone team to re evaluation.

Further , we personally request you to support us to evaluate all the aspects , if you have any other solution which will help all of us please suggest with the complete details .We'll definitely share the same to the Vodafone to make the changes/modification accordingly.

We are also trying to arrange a technical meeting between Vodafone technical team and the residents (including you) along with our respected AOA team. This time at least Vodafone shown some interest against our issues ,now it's our duty to fight with them for our issues to get the satisfactory resolution .

In last , we would assure you that we'll not take any hasy decision ,will definitely consult with all the expertise like you as well as the technical expertise. Therefore ,we forwarded all the details to all of you guys before reaching any conclusion.

Yesterday we had a meeting with Aircel and got to know one more solution called Cellular repeaters , Please dig out the detail for the same and share with all of us.

Regards

Hey Gaurav

Please read Daljeet's email again. Point # 5 says "Two 4-6 Meter high pole on rooftop for Microwave & Antenna connectivity."

Couple of things here -

I am talking about microwave radiation, not radioactive radiation. That comes our of radioactive substances primarily nuclear. BTS is not "radioactive" anyway.

Technically speaking, mobile phones communicate with BTS via radio waves and BTS communicates further either using wired or Microwave network. Here, Vodafone is clearly proposing Microwave solution. Ericsson document doesn't talk about this aspect of connectivity. Moreover, refer to Q&A in page 9 again which states that it is harmful indeed.

High courts have also ordered against installing mobile towers in populated areas. One has to understand that I am raising this concern for OUR welfare.
People (including you) who have taken this initiative should further consult with experts and share the feedback with us. We MUST take an informed decision, not a hasty decision.

Dear Mr. Vishal,

Thanks a ton for sharing your concern with all of us.

We all are not in the favor of BTS tower as well as high radioactive towers to be installed.

We would like to share you that this is basically "in building solution" which works on the Radio waves ,these Radio waves have been used for different types of communication, such as radio and TV . Do not confuse radio waves with radioactive radiation. (One presentation enclosed for your reference)

In addition , would like to inform you that we are in the evaluation phase , request all of you to share the thoughts before finalizing the things. Most probably the technical team from Vodafone will visit our society very soon to discuss in detail.

VERY VERY IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY

Friends,

Refer to this link and read the information. There are many other links online. It talks about harmful effects of cell phone towers on our health. We will be exposing ourselves, our families and kids to all these dangers.

Few societies in Indirapuram have decided not to install BTS's in their societies because of same reason. We shouldn't do this either. We will be paying a huge invisible cost (poor health) only to get better reception on our cell phones. These damages will be long lasting and irreparable/irreversible.

Dear All,

Dear Mr. Gaurav,

As discussed, please find attached planning report of our work. Request you to please go through and allow us to do our activity.

The In-building coverage solution is provided to improve signal strength and speech quality. This is done by installing a Micro Base station inside the premises of the building; and with the help of cable distribution network miniaturized antennas are put at major location, common areas and signal is fed to all the corners of the building.

This shall includes the installation of our equipments as mentioned below,

  1. Indoor Omni antenna (weight 300gms,dia 200mm,height 78 mm) or panel antenna 500 gram (height/width/depth 205/155/32 mm) which would be installed on the ceiling at different locations in the building, keeping the aesthetic looks of the building in mind. Number and location of cells shall depend upon requirement and determined on actual survey.
  2. Co-axial cable (1/2" and/or 7/8" ) running through shaft connecting the BTS to the antenna at each floor.
  3. Space for keeping Base Transmission Equipment ( BTS) where we require 3 mtr x 3 mtr.
  4. To run our equipment, we require 5KW power from your site
  5. Two 4-6 Meter high pole on rooftop for Microwave & Antenna connectivity.

The cost for this equipment and cost of the wiring will be borne by 'Vodafone', as a service to our customers.

Request you to please get the permission from RWA for wiring up all the towers to improve Vodafone Network.
