1. Kindly refer to my requests dated 06 April 2014, 12 May 2014, 02 June 2014, 08 June 2014, 14 June 2014, 28 June 2014, 04 July 2014, 14 July 2014, 19 July 2014, 03 August 2014, 07 September 2014, 11 October 2014, 01 November 2014, 28 November 2014, 28 December 2014, 12 April 2015, 15 May 2015, 27 June 2015, 18 July 2015, Speed Post Letter dated 09 October 2015, 21 April 2016 and 14 June 2016 on the above subject. The above subject matter is pending for the last many years. I am, once again, requesting for the same.
2. Kindly also refer to the following replies, on the above subject, received from DMRCL; NCRPB; GDA and NCRP&M Cell (UP) sent to the concerned authorities for information and further necessary action :-
(a) Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRCL), New Delhi on 29 May 2014, 12 April 2015, 15 May 2015, 27 June 2015, 18 July 2015, 9 October 2015, 21 April 2016 and 14 June 2016.
(b) National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), New Delhi on 25 June 2014 (copy attached) and 9 October 2014 (Reminder–1) [copy attached].
(c) Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on 20 June 2014 and 18 September 2014.
(d) National Capital Region Planning and Monitoring Cell (UP) [NCRP&M Cell (UP)], Town & Country Planning Department, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on 03 July 2014 (copy attached), 21 October 2014 (copy attached) and 20 October 2015 (copy attached).
3. I am grateful to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited; National Capital Region Planning Board; Ghaziabad Development Authority and NCR Cell (UP), Town & Country Planning Department for the above interim replies at Para 2 above. In the above replies, no definite timeframe has been given for sanction of Metro Line Extension up to Mehrauli, NH-24, Ghaziabad from Vaishali, Ghaziabad/Dabur Chowk along NH-24, Ghaziabad alongwith Metro Stations at twelve important places along NH-24, Ghaziabad. You are requested to kindly instruct the concerned to give definite timeframe for that, for which we all will be highly grateful to you.
4. In this connection, I may state here that requested Metro Line Extension up to Mehrauli, NH-24, Ghaziabad from Vaishali, Ghaziabad/Dabur Chowk, Ghaziabad along NH-24 Ghaziabad is a part of Metro Line Extension up to Dasna, NH-24, Ghaziabad from Vaishali, Ghaziabad/Dabur Chowk, Ghaziabad along NH-24, Ghaziabad (Copy of GDA's Plan for this Metro Line Extension is attached) and is pending for the last many years.
5. I would request you to kindly sanction the whole stretch from Vaishali/Dabur Chowk, Ghaziabad to Dasna, NH-24, Ghaziabad along NH-24, but, in the meantime, if it will take considerable time for sanction of this whole stretch, then I would request you, for the time being, kindly sanction the requested Metro Line Extension stretch from Vaishali, Ghaziabad/Dabur Chowk, Ghaziabad to Mehrauli, NH-24, Ghaziabad along NH-24 along with the requested Metro Stations as mentioned at Para 8 below as this stretch has been fully inhabited by millions of residents for which they all will be highly grateful to you.
6. In view of the above, it is also requested that Metro Stations along NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh may also kindly be sanctioned at the following twelve important places :-
(a) UP Gate Police Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad.
(b) Gaur Green City, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(c) Sarojini Naidu Marg, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(d) CISF Crossing, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(e) Sector 62, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(f) Sector 63, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(g) Siddhartha Vihar, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(h) Vijay Nagar Bypass, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(j) ABES Engineering College/Crossings Republic, NH-24;
(k) Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(l) Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad; and
(m) Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad.
7. Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is already an 'NCR (National Capital Region) City' since 1985 and the cities which comes under 'NCR' should have all the same common excellent facilities/infrastructure, like Excellent Roads/Widened Highways connected with Delhi and other NCR Cities; Common Transport System [Bus (DTC, UPSRTC, Autos, taxis, cabs, etc), Rail, Metro Extensions, etc) with Delhi and other NCR Cities; Safe Drinking Water for all; Sewer Connections for all; 24 Hour Electricity for all; etc.
8. On 27 August 2015, Central Government releases list of 98 Smart Cities which also includes Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh as a 'Smart City'. Smart City 'Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh' will realize the dream of the perfect life. The motive of each Smart City is one to accelerate economic growth and provide a better life to the citizens of the Smart City which includes sufficient water supply/water management; 24 hours power; affordable housing; pure climate; sanitation; waste management; sewer connections; better public transport (road, rail, metro, autos, taxis, cabs etc); digitization, e-governance; e-hospital (medicine, providing treatment and medical advice online, via the internet and smartphones make people aware of diseases); improved traffic; civil protection; education; health, etc.
9. Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is an 'NCR City' since 1985 through 'The National Capital Region Planning Board Act, 1985' published in 'The Gazette of India' on 11th February, 1985 and now it is also declared as a 'Smart City' by the Central Government on 27 August 2015, it should have all the excellent facilities as mentioned in Paras 7 and 8 above for all the citizens residing in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
10. In view of the fact that the above subject matter is pending for the last many years and also that the above requested Metro Route is under discussion stage as mentioned by GDA at Para 2 (c) above, you all are, once again, requested to kindly instruct the concerned to prepare DPR (Detailed Project Report for the alignment mentioned in my above request at the earliest and also sanction the extension of Metro Line at least up to Mehrauli, NH-24, Ghaziabad from Vaishali, Ghaziabad/Dabur Chowk, Ghaziabad along NH-24, Ghaziabad alongwith Metro Stations at the twelve important places as mentioned at Para 6 (a) to (m) above so that discussion stage should become implementation stage soon with concrete action by GDA and all other Agencies (I am also requesting to all the concerned Agencies involved for the above requested Metro Route so that further delay should not occur in this regard). By sanctioning this Metro Rail Route along with Metro Stations along NH-24, Ghaziabad (Copy of GDA's Plan for this Metro Line Extension is attached), you will help millions of residents residing along NH-24 Corridor, Ghaziabad, for which we all will be highly obliged to all.
