The above subject matter is pending since long. I am, once again, requesting for the same.

2. Kindly refer to replies dated 29th May, 2013; 30th May, 2013 and 28th August, 2014 received from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT&H) / National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on the above subject.

3. Kindly refer to Requests for Proposal (Letters of Invitation) dated 4th March, 2014; 27th July, 2015; 8thSeptember, 2015; 9th October, 2015; 23rd October, 2015; 9th November, 2015; 27th November, 2015 and 6th May, 2016 of National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways), New Delhi on the above subject.

4. Hon'ble Prime Minister of India had laid the foundation stone of 14 – Lane Delhi – Meerut Expressway Project [Widening of NH–24 from UP Gate (Delhi – UP Border) to Dasna and from UP Gate (Delhi – UP Border) to Meerut via Dasna] on 31st December, 2015 from Plot No. A – 33, Sector – 62, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh (copies of photos attached of the function). The special invitees for this function (foundation laying stone of 14 – Lane Delhi – Meerut Expressway Project by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on 31st December, 2015) were Hon'ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways; Hon'ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation & Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha : Gautam Buddha Nagar Constituency); Hon'ble Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways; Hon'ble Minister of State for External Affairs / Overseas Indian Affairs & Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha : Ghaziabad Constituency) and other important VIPs.

5. It seems that, even after the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India had laid the foundation laying stone on 31st December, 2015 (more than one year ago) of 14 – Lane Delhi – Meerut Expressway Project from Delhi to Meerut (via UP Gate, NH-24, Ghaziabad / Mahagunpuram, NH-24 / Dasna), the work relating to it has yet to be started.

6. In view of the above, you are requested to kindly instruct the

concerned authorities to get the work relating to 14 – Lane Delhi –

Meerut Expressway Project [widening of NH-24 from UP Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Dasna and from UP Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Meerut via Dasna] started at the earliest as already considerable delay has happened in this regard. We all will be highly grateful to you for that.
