Respected Sir / Madam,

 

1.      Kindly refer to my requests dated 8th April, 2013; 15th April, 2013; 21st April, 2013; 1st May, 2013; 14th May, 2013; 3rd June, 2013; 24th June, 2013; 20th July, 2013; 18th August, 2013; 29th September, 2013; 1st November, 2013; 23rd November, 2013; 13th December, 2013; 3rd January 2014; 1st February, 2014; 16th February, 2014; 8th March, 2014; 2nd April, 2014; 14th April, 2014; Speed Post Letter dated 2nd May, 2014; 16th May, 2014; 24th June, 2014; 3rd July, 2014; 10th July, 2014; 1st August, 2014; 1st September, 2014; 4th October, 2014; 4th November, 2014; 27th November, 2014; 27th December, 2014; 11th April, 2015; 12th May, 2015; 12th July, 2015; 3rd May, 2016; 25th July, 2016; 16th September, 2016; 6th November, 2016; 29th January, 2017; 28th March, 2017 and 8th July, 2017 on the above subject.  I am, once again, requesting for the same.

 

2.      Also, kindly refer to replies dated 4th May, 2013 and 2nd July, 2015 received from UPSRTC, Lucknow on the above subject.  No definite timeframe has been given by UPSRTC for starting the above Bus Route and also making of Bus Stands (Bus Stops) at various places along NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.  Kindly give definite timeframe for that for which we all will be highly grateful to you.

 

3.      A Bench of Chief Justice N V Ramana and Justice Pradeep Nandrajog of the Delhi High Court in September, 2013 on a PIL filed by a resident of Vaishali, Ghaziabad (Shri Mohan Singh) regarding allowing Public Transport on NH-24 between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh [News article published in The Time of India dated 20th September, 2013 : "PIL SEEKS CITY BUSSES ON NH-24 : Link – http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/PIL-seeks-city-buses-on-NH-24/articleshow/22774932.cms] directed in their interim order as under :-

 

"Direct the Respondents (State Governments of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh) to undertake the process of reviewing the list of routes under the Reciprocal Common Transport Agreement, 2008 keeping in view the development of residential colonies in Ghaziabad".

 

4.      In addition to above, kindly also refer to four letters dated 8th May, 2014 (two letters) and 10th September, 2014 (Reminder-1 : two letters) [copies of all the four letters are attached for information, perusal and further necessary action please] received from the Director (Tech.), National Capital Region Planning Board [Ministry of Urban Development], First Floor, Core – IV B, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003 addressed to the concerned authorities for examination and appropriate action at the earliest.

 

5.      It is also requested that instructions to the concerned authorities may please be issued for making Bus Stands (Bus Stops) on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh at the following places :-

 

(a)     Mahagunpuram Gate, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad;

(b)     Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(c)     Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(d)     ABES Engineering College/Crossing Republic, NH-24;

(e)     Vijay Nagar Bypass, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(f)      Siddhartha Vihar, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(g)     Sector 63, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(h)     Sector 62, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(j)      CISF Crossing, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(k)     Sarojini Naidu Marg, NH-24, Ghaziabad;

(l)      Gaur Green City, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad; and

(m)    UP Gate Police Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad.

 

6.      There are Bus Stands (Bus Stops) already there made by the concerned authorities on the side of Delhi along the Bus Route requested from Mehrauli Railway Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium, Connaught Place, Delhi/New Delhi Railway Station and Back.

 

7.      Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is already an 'NCR (National Capital Region) City' since 1985 and the cities which comes under 'NCR' should have all the same common excellent facilities/infrastructure, like Excellent Roads/Widened Highways connected with Delhi and other NCR Cities; Common Transport System [Bus (DTC, UPSRTC, Autos, taxis, cabs, etc), Rail, Metro Extensions, etc) with Delhi and other NCR Cities; Safe Drinking Water for all; Sewer Connections for all; 24 Hour Electricity for all; etc.  Also, on 27 August 2015, Central Government released list of 98 Smart Cities which also includes Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh as a 'Smart City'.  Smart City 'Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh' will realize the dream of the perfect life.  The motive of each Smart City is one to accelerate economic growth and provide a better life to the citizens of the Smart City which includes sufficient water supply/water management; 24 hours power; affordable housing; pure climate; sanitation; waste management; sewer connections; better public transport (road, rail, metro, autos, taxis, cabs etc); digitization, e-governance; e-hospital (medicine, providing treatment and medical advice online, via the internet and smartphones make people aware of diseases); improved traffic; civil protection; education; health, etc.

 

8.      Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is an 'NCR City' since 1985 through 'The National Capital Region Planning Board Act, 1985' published in 'The Gazette of India' on 11th February, 1985 and now it is also declared as a 'Smart City' by the Central Government on 27 August 2015, it should have all the excellent facilities as mentioned in Para 7 above for all the residents residing in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

 

9.      The following reply was received by me from the Office of the then Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow on the above subject, as under:-

 

"Sir, ANAND KUMAR SHARMA, your letter to Hon'ble CM has been sent to Principal Secretary / Secretary Transport, Government of Uttar Pradesh".

 

10.    Kindly refer to reply dated 17th September, 2016 received by me from Col Tejandra Pal Tyagi, Vir Chakra, President, AOA Federation Ghaziabad to my request dated 16th September, 2016 on the above subject which he has addressed to the Transport Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow and Chairman, UPSRTC, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow for further necessary action, as under:-

 

"Jai Hind, The letter  written by Shri Anand Kumar Sharma is so exhaustive, so convincing, so analytical and with so much of perseverance, that any Officer at the helm of affairs, would have easily approved additional city bus route from Mehrauli, Ghaziabad to New Delhi Railway Station forthwith. In fact such a proposal ought to have come from the local administration.  I on behalf of the organisations mentioned below request you to kindly accord approval in principle immediately and implementation at the earliest of the city Bus from Mehrauli, NH-24, Ghaziabad to New Delhi Railway Station.  We will raise such issues now onwards at different forums".

 

11.    In view of the above, you are, once again, requested to kindly sanction the above requested UPSRTC Bus Route from Mehrauli Railway Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium, Connaught Place, Delhi/New Delhi Railway Station and Back.  Bus Stands (Bus Stops) may also please be got made at the twelve places as mentioned at Para 5 (a) to (m) above.  By sanctioning this Bus Route/Bus Stands (Bus Stops), you will help millions of residents residing along NH-24 Corridor for which we all would be highly grateful to you.
