1. Kindly refer to my requests dated 6^th January, 2013; 9^th January, 2013; 7^th May, 2013, 8^th May, 2013; 28^th May, 2013; 17^th August, 2014; 23^rdAugust, 2014; 8^th November, 2014; 6^th December, 2014; 26^th December, 2014; 28^th April, 2015; 24^th June, 2015; 13^th October, 2015; 26^th October, 2015; 21^st November, 2015; 7^th May, 2016; 14^th August, 2016 and 11^th January, 2017 relating to widening of NH-24 and starting of work of 14 – Lane Delhi – Meerut Expressway Project [Widening of NH–24 from UP Gate (Delhi–UP Border) to Dasna and from UP Gate (Delhi – UP Border) to Meerut via Mahagunpuram / Dasna].

2. Also, kindly refer to replies dated 29^th May, 2013; 30^th May, 2013 and 28^th August, 2014 received by me from Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT&H) / National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on the above subject.

3. In addition to above, kindly refer to Requests for Proposal (Letters of Invitation) of National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways), New Delhi on the above subject.

4. Hon'ble Prime Minister of India had laid the foundation stone of 14 – Lane Delhi – Meerut Expressway Project [Widening of NH–24 from UP Gate (Delhi–UP Border) to Dasna and from UP Gate (Delhi–UP Border) to Meerut via Dasna] on 31^st December, 2015 from Plot No. A – 33, Sector – 62, NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh. We all are highly grateful for that.

5. Kindly refer to reply dated 12^th January, 2017 received by me from PIU – Ghaziabad, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), House No. 518, Ground Floor, Niti Khand-I, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, as under :-

"In this regard, it is to inform that the widening work of NH-24 from Delhi to Hapur is being implemented in three packages. The work has already been awarded for first & third packages i.e. Ring Road to Delhi/U.P. Border & Dasna to Hapur. The construction work for these 2 packages has commenced and is scheduled for completion within 910 days. For second package between Delhi/U.P. Border to Dasna, bids have been received on 03.10.2016 and are under evaluation. Efforts are being made to complete the entire project between Delhi to Hapur by December 2018. Further, new greenfield expressway is planned for construction from Dasna to Meerut and bidding process has been taken up for the same".

6. Kindly convey our sincere thanks to all the officers and officials of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT&H) and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) associated with this project from the preliminary stage to the successful starting of this project, for their excellent cooperation in a time-bound manner. We all are highly grateful for that.
