Respected Sir / Madam,
1. Kindly refer to News published in 'Times of India' on 10 May 2018 regarding Ghaziabad plans to start Electric Buses and shortlisted four Bus Routes. 2. It is mentioned in the above news dated 10 May 2018 published in 'Times of India' that (according to Vice Chairperson, GDA) the genesis of introducing Electric Buses in the city could be traced to just concluded UP Investors Summit where Essel Infraprojects Limited signed an MoU with the UP Government, in which the company committed an investment of Rs.3,000 crore for rolling out Electric Buses in the State and the NCR. The company was asked to prepare a report to assess the feasibility of plying Electric Buses within the city's limit and their representative presented the report.
3. Out of the four proposed Bus Routes (Map showing the details about the proposed four Bus Routes attached), two proposed Bus Routes – (a) Green Line is from Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and (b) Red Line is from Dilshad Garden, Delhi to Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh).
4. Scores of Projects have been completed after Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad (UP) along NH-24 corridor upto Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, NH-24, Ghaziabad (UP). Millions and millions of residents have started residing from Lal Kuan to Mahagunpuram. Some of the important Projects are Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad; Landcraft's 'Golf Links', NH-24, Ghaziabad; Rise Developer's 'Organic Homes' (opposite Columbia Asia Hospital), NH-24, Ghaziabad; Aditya World City near Wave City, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad, Mahagun's 'Mahagunpuram', NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad; Ansal's 'Tanushree', NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad; ongoing Wave City (opposite to Mahagunpuram), NH-24 (4500 acres project), Ghaziabad, etc.
5. It is requested that instructions to the concerned authorities may please be issued for making two Bus Stands (Bus Stops) after Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad (UP) on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh for the proposed two Electric Bus Routes (Green Line and Red Line) as under :-
(a) Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad (UP).
(b) Mahagunpuram Gate, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad (UP).
6. As millions and millions of residents have started residing from Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad to Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad, it is requested that the proposed two Electric Bus Routes – (a) Green Line from Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and (b) Red Line from Dilshad Garden, Delhi to Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), may please be sanctioned and extended upto Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad.
7. In view of the above, you are requested to kindly sanction and extend the proposed two Electric Bus Routes – (a) Green Line from Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and (b) Red Line from Dilshad Garden, Delhi to Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) upto Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh). Bus Stands (Bus Stops) may also please be got made at the two places as mentioned at Para 5 (a) and (b) above. By sanctioning and extending these two Electric Bus Routes (Green Line and Red Line) from Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaiziabad to Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad, you will help millions of residents residing from Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad to Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad for which they all would be highly obliged to you.
