SUBJECT : REQUEST FOR RECONSIDERATION OF REPLY DATED 5TH DECEMBER, 2013 OF IGL REGARDING SANCTIONING OF DOMESTIC PIPED NATURAL GAS (PNG) CONNECTIONS FOR THE RESIDENTS OF MAHAGUN PURAM, NH-24, MEHRAULI, GHAZIABAD – 201002 (UTTAR PRADESH).

1. Kindly refer to my requests dated 1st December, 2013; 17th November, 2013; Speed Post letter dated 7th November, 2013; 27th October, 2013; 19th October, 2013; 12th October, 2013; 5th October, 2013; 28th September, 2013; 22nd September, 2013; 20th September, 2013; 14th September, 2013; 17th August, 2013; 20th July, 2013; 24th June, 2013; 9th June, 2013; 15th May, 2013; 21st April, 2013; 16th April, 2013 & 12th April, 2013 and through http://www.iglonline.net/Feedback.aspx and customercare.png@igl.co.in on the above subject. I am, once again, requesting for the same.
2. Please refer to your reply dated 5th December, 2013 as under :-
"This refers to the provision of domestic PNG connections at Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad. In this regard we would like to draw your kind attention that the technical feasibility survey of first phase of the project had been conducted several times with the Architect (Ms. Anita Tiwari - Mahagun), AVP - Architect (Ms. Shama Gupta - Mahagun), GM (Projects - Mahagunpuram) and officials from Gyan Peeth Mathur and associates (The Architect of the project). There is no top cover available above the basement for the laying of our PNG pipeline network. IGL requires minimum depth of 600 mm for the laying of PNG pipeline network with a channel. If normal soil is available, we require depth of 1.2 m for the laying the network. Also, there are some technical constraints for GI (Vertical rising) routing. Therefore, the first phase of the project is technically not feasible for the provision of domestic PNG connections and the same has been communicated to Mahagun officials".
3. It is understood that India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi is being supplied with Piped Natural Gas for the last many years even though that building has underground basement of three layered (three storied) underground parking. Mahagun Puram Phase I have got only one layer (one storey) underground parking. There must be some solution to it also due to the advancement of technology.
4. It is also understood that one Housing Society (fifteen years old) with single basement parking at Sector 1, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is also being supplied with Domestic PNG. If a fifteen years old Society with basement parking can be supplied with PNG, then why can't PNG be supplied at Mahagunpuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. There must be some solution to it also due to the advancement of technology.
5. There is already provision of domestic PNG connections in one of the adjacent Housing Project [Ansal's Tanushree Housing Project, NH-24, Mehrauli, Near Indian Oil Petrol Pump, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh] which is less than 100 metres from Mahagun Puram, NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
6. The details of the concerned officer of Mahagun Real Estate Private Limited and in charge of Maintenance of Mahagun Puram, NH-24, Ghaziabad are given below for further necessary action regarding sanctioning of Domestic PNG connections for the residents of Mahagun Puram, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad – 201002 (Uttar Pradesh) :-
