Otherwise still a lot of societies in Noida and Ghaziabad has old type connection method where user do not have to pay Rupees 150 as rent to Optical modem but they are way behind from the modern world technology.

First get the connection from BSNL and then take the modem to Nehru Place and buy the same type modem there are a lot of manufactures with different prices and guarantee months available in market. Ask the BSNL engineer who is appointed to install your connection can also help you in the same.
Once you have your digital modem installed return the BSNL modem and get the return slip as it is costly device. For that you just need to call BSNL broadband helpline and they will come to pick from your house.
After that connect your any manufacturer WIFI modem to this optical modem to make your house WIFI enabled.
However buying a modem is only good for those who want to become a long term BSNL user.
