Mahagunpuram : Increase in the tower height : Bad from the builder

Hi All,
I am an owner of flat in mahagunpuram. last week I visited mahagunpuram site and came to know that no. of floors have been increased to 19. earlier at the time of booking, we have been communicated by the builder that no. of floors would be 14.

this increase of floor has some severe impacts like ..
1. safety issue : since earlier building's foundation is constructed for 14 story building, increase in floors can impact the safery of the overall building. also GDA has provided approval only for 14 floors, how come builder has managed to get approval for additional 5 floors ?

2. Service and Facilities Issue : Since there are only 2 Lifts per block and 8 flats per floor, it means earlier 2 lifts were suppose to manage for 14X8=128 flats, but now 2 lifts will be managing the need of 19X8=152 flats. same issue will arrise for parking and other facilities.

3.our share in residential society also diluted because of increase in no. of flats in complex.

Please share your views also on the mentioned isssue.

Folks,

My intentions are not to take you away from drift but remember... any road which is part of municipality planning, can not be avoided. However its the act of thievery by the builder for hiding such details. Secondly, any such road is not going to add big meaning to the neighbor village but to us only in future; i hope you must be aware of gated societies of NOIDA and GZB.

We should trace and understand the complete cross road plan. We cant be so sure that this road is a danger for us. We should not forget the future expansion of NH. Let us keep talking on it.

To me the questions of extended height is also not very strange as it was in place since last year; however not disclosed explicitly by the builder.

In the light of all available resources, i feel resource sharing will be little difficult, provided the latest fact that ground floor parking is also gone.

The prevailing mood of builder will be difficult to handle as his project is encashable now. I feel, a group plan and a final group talk should be offered.

I agree with Amit here.....this height issue has been raised earlier as well and with current behaviour of builder, we hold no power to negotiate with him.
