The NH24 widening task was initiated 2 years back, and it was on high priority. Then it took 2 years just to finalize the bidder.
Now scrapping this, means wasting of two years, money and energy.
Again, a new DPR will be created for new plan and whole process will be repeated. Means, If this underpass thing is being thought at this moment, then it will take another 5 years to actually materialize it. I am really fed up with these kind of ineligible and inefficient people holding key positions in Government. There is no accountability and responsibility. One officer comes with a plan and another replaces it with new plan.. effectively no plans.
These are just like JOKES of the system. Just live on people tax money doing nothing fuitful for them.
I just hope for better execution of the planning and a visionary, which is rare siting the kind of people get selected in the poor selection process of Civil services officers.

Gyani, did you visited NH-24 recently? i suggest you to make a visit.
In a indirect way, this work has already started.
One factor, i would like to mention here is that there was no formal plan announcement by NHAI; it was just media. I would suggest you to trace if any tender or bidder is selected by NHAI.
And folks, beside of this; there is another secondary road from NOIDA to NH-24 is soon going to start working.
FYI road from NOIDA extension will join NH-24 near Pratap Vihar by December 2011. You can see the development of road by visiting this area
Traffic to Dadri/Bulandshahar/Sikandrabad is not going to share NH-24 anymore after this road.
The only problem is local traffic upto Lal Kua. Lets hope this solution will handle local traffic.

Just by writting on blog. wont do anything good for this blog.... as i mentioned there are several others things we need to unite and talk for that we need meeting agednda time on sat-sun... when called for i rarly see anybody at destination... so please stop writing demoralized comments... when on NH24 Wave city with 1600 aces township can be developed then money will come there... deveop will happen... its all abt money my dear frind.... :)

Yes.. I have seen the NH24.. at least 4 times in last 2 months. Can you tell me which stretch, the work is started?
Can you please share some picture? Any single piece of news from any source (even a small local daily Hindi news paper cut) will do.. or else go ahead and click some pics, just to show on the blogger.
At least what I am publishing here has a solid base, from a valid and famous news paper TIMES OF INDIA. It is not on day-dreaming that "All is well". And dost, nothing is a negative comment. It is my view and I think this platform is to express everyones view. If you don't like, don't read.
Just taking side of builders and creating fake positive will not help.. If you counter any news, put a solid base...
And Mr Dixit, I did not mention anything about other road development, like NOIDA Extn -NH24 connectivity or so on... How does this is 'indirect way' of widening NH24. Building or connecting different roads is one thing and widening of NH 24 is another thing? May be your analysis is correct. But what I have posted here about TOI news is also true... and of course I can not do anything if TOI is reporting baseless news.

I can understand the reasons behind your rudeness very well. I apologize for generating this situation somehow unknowingly.
Facts are always about interpretations, Our discussion is the proof of this.
I am sorry, but i cant produce any news paper publishing to you. Even, if there any, i will not.
I suggest to consider following items for clarification regarding work started by authorities,
1. Maharajpur UP gate crossing is extended in every possible way.
2. All three Indprapuram cuts e.g. Near gaur green, Kala pathar and CISF camp are either completed or in the process of completion.
I hope this can help you in understanding the current progress.
Now if you don't mind, Can you produce facts for,
1. Tender by NHAI for NH-24 expansion.
2. Selection of bidder by NHAI.
3. How you considers 5 years is the time line for next expansion plan.

3rd one is an interpretation with current pace of working of UP govt.
I was being rude, because you ndand Akhil only blame me for negative sentiments. But the fact is that, I present here all kind of news... including price appreciation and metro one; which is positive also (and hence sentiments).
I just wanted to be open in discussion. We may have conficts of thoughts, but again we can not be blind towards the developments, whether positive or negative.

Real estate is always a bet, if u think from investment perspective.
Dont be depressed, one thing is for sure that widening of NH24 is unavoidable for Govt. I dont know, whether it is going to be 6 Lane, 8 Lane of 16 Lane, but it is definitely a good bet to buy along NH24.
