Hi Ashish,

Same here,, they are charging the penalty for month of July 2009, As loan got disbursed in Aug as HDFC started  disbursing amount in July month only.

There is no Leagal clause ,as its on builder discreation for the date they want to panalise us...Just try to Negotiate with them for amount and pay the same .

As soon as its cleared they will issue  chequeus to u (2-3 days)
