I had sent (in January, 2013) the following e-mail request to Chairman, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), New Delhi regarding widening of National Highway 24 from Uttar Pradesh Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Dasna :-

Respected Sir,
Kindly refer to my e-mail requests dated 6th January, 2013 and 9th January, 2013 on the above subject. For the last many years, news regarding widening of National Highway 24 from Uttar Pradesh Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Dasna are being published in various Newspapers. Some Newspapers are publishing it to be Six Lanes and some are publishing it to be Eight Lanes. Other Newspapers had also published that it would be Ten Lanes Highway with Four Lanes as Slip Roads from Uttar Pradesh Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Meerut via Dasna.
In view of the above and being working at National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), you can tell me the true information regarding the starting and completion of the widening of National Highway 24 from Uttar Pradesh Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Dasna and from Uttar Pradesh Gate (Delhi-UP Border) to Meerut via Dasna (which is pending for the last many years) for which I will be highly obliged.

GENERAL MANAGER (TECH), NHAI, NEW DELHI HAD FORWARDED MY ABOVE REQUEST, VIDE HIS LETTER DATED 5TH FEBRUARY, 2013, TO THE DIRECTOR GENERAL (RD & SS), MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS, TRANSPORT BHAWAN, 1, PARLIAMENT STREET, NEW DELHI FOR NECESSARY ACTION WITH A COPY ENDORSED TO ME. AS AND WHEN I WILL RECEIVE A REPLY FROM THEM, I WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT IT. YOU ALL CAN ALSO REQUEST THEM SO THAT THE WIDENING OF NH-24 FROM UTTAR PRADESH GATE (DELHI-UP BORDER) TO DASNA COULD BE EXPEDITED WHICH WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US AT MAHAGUN PURAM (PHASE I AND PHASE II), NH-24, GHAZIABAD, UTTAR PRADESH.
