[Mahagunpuram] Service Tax on Parking?

Dear All,

I will be going for my registry sometimes next week, and Mahagun now says I have to cough up this additional payment of Rs 5200/- to accomodate the new rules on service tax on parking.

I was given to understand that the new rules came into effect post July 2012, and hence do not apply retrospectively.

Can someone please educate me how to to go about this. I will be going to the builder office tomorrow to sign the registry documents, and hence wanted to be better prepared, to cacth possible bluff!
