Subject : REQUEST FOR SANCTIONING OF UPSRTC BUS ROUTE FROM MEHRAULI RAILWAY STATION, NH-24, GHAZIABAD (UTTAR PRADESH) TO SHIVAJI STADIUM, CONNAUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI / NEW DELHI RAILWAY STATION AND BACK; DTC BUS ROUTE FROM SHIVAJI STADIUM, CONNAUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI / NEW DELHI RAILWAY STATION TO MEHRAULI RAILWAY STATION, NH-24, GHAZIABAD (UTTAR PRADESH) AND BACK AND BUS STANDS AT VARIOUS PLACES ALONG NH-24, GHAZIABAD.
Respected Sir/Madam,
1. Kindly refer to my requests dated 5th April, 2014; 23rd March, 2014; 2nd March, 2014; 1st February, 2014; 18th January, 2014; 23rd December, 2013; 23rd November, 2013 and 4th November, 2013 on the above subject. I am, once again, requesting for the same.
2. I am requesting to the concerned Officers of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport (UPSRTC) since April, 2013 FOR SANCTIONING OF UPSRTC BUS ROUTE FROM MEHRAULI RAILWAY STATION, NH-24, GHAZIABAD (UTTAR PRADESH) TO SHIVAJI STADIUM, CONNAUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI / NEW DELHI RAILWAY STATION AND BACK.
3. I am also requesting to the concerned Officers of UPSRTC since July, 2013 to issue necessary instructions to the concerned for making Bus Stands on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh at the following important places :-
(a) Mahagunpuram Gate, NH-24, Mehrauli, Ghaziabad;
(b) Columbia Asia Hospital, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(c) Lal Kuan, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(d) ABES Engineering College/Crossing Republic, NH-24;
(e) Vijay Nagar Bypass, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(f) Siddhartha Vihar, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(g) Sector 63, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(h) Sector 62, NOIDA Crossing, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(j) CISF Crossing, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(k) Sarojini Naidu Marg, NH-24, Ghaziabad;
(l) Gaur Green City, Indirapuram, NH-24, Ghaziabad; and
(m) UP Gate Police Station, NH-24, Ghaziabad.
4. I had only received INTERIM REPLY dated 4th May, 2013 from UPSRTC (armfgzb@upsrtc.com) and no final reply has been received from UPSRTC till date. Officers of UPSRTC had not given any timeframe for starting the above requested UPSRTC Bus Route/making of Bus Stands.
5. I am requesting the concerned Officers of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) since April, 2013 FOR SANCTIONING OF DTC BUS ROUTE FROM SHIVAJI STADIUM, CONNAUGHT PLACE, NEW DELHI / NEW DELHI RAILWAY STATION TO MEHRAULI RAILWAY STATION, NH-24, GHAZIABAD (UTTAR PRADESH) AND BACK.
6. I am also requesting the concerned Officers of DTC since July, 2013 to issue necessary instructions to the concerned for making Bus Stands on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh at the important places as mentioned in Para 3 (a) to (m) above.
7. I had only received FIVE INTERIM REPLIES dated 18th January, 2014; 11th January, 2014; 2nd August, 2013; 14th June, 2013 and 27th April, 2013 from DTC (Dtc Scindia House <dtc_trdeptt@yahoo.in>) and no final reply has been received from DTC till date. Officers of DTC had not given any timeframe for starting the above requested DTC Bus Route/making of Bus Stands.
8. Also, a Bench of Chief Justice N V Ramana and Justice Pradeep Nandrajog of the Delhi High Court in September, 2013 on a PIL filed by a resident of Vaishali, Ghaziabad (Shri Mohan Singh) regarding allowing Public Transport on NH-24 between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh [News article published in The Time of India dated 20th September, 2013 : "PIL SEEKS CITY BUSSES ON NH-24 : Link – http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/delhi/PIL-seeks-city-buses-on-NH-24/articleshow/22774932.cms] directed in their interim order as under :-
"Direct the Respondents (State Governments of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh) to undertake the process of reviewing the list of routes under the Reciprocal Common Transport Agreement, 2008 keeping in view the development of residential colonies in Ghaziabad".
9. I have not received any reply from the National Capital Region Planning Board, New Delhi to my EIGHT REQUESTS (as mentioned in Para 1 above) since 4th November, 2013. Kindly expedite the decision at the earliest for the benefit of millions and millions of residents residing along NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
10. In view of the above, I request you to kindly instruct the concerned Officers of UPSRTC and DTC to start the requested UPSRTC/DTC Bus Routes as mentioned in Paras 2 and 5 above and also making of Bus Stands on both sides of NH-24, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh at the important places as mentioned in Para 3 (a) to (m) above at the earliest.
