[Mahagunpuram] Development of Delhi-Meerut Expressway from Km. 0.000 to Km. 27.500 including 6/8 Laning of NH-24 from Km. 0.000 to Km. 49.346 (Hapur Bypass) in the State of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh – Package–I – from existing Km. 0.000 to existing Km. 8.360 (Delhi/Uttar Pradesh Border) in the State of Delhi on Hybrid Annuity Mode – Extension of Bid Due Date.



Development of Delhi-Meerut Expressway from Km. 0.000 to Km. 27.500 including 6/8 Laning of NH-24 from Km. 0.000 to Km. 49.346 (Hapur Bypass) in the State of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh – Package–I – from existing Km. 0.000 to existing Km. 8.360 (Delhi/Uttar Pradesh Border) in the State of Delhi on Hybrid Annuity Mode – Extension of Bid Due Date.

 

1.      According to Request for Proposal (Letter of Invitation) dated 4th March, 2014 [Official Website Link of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) : http://www.nhai.org/Doc/4mar14/RFP-DME.pdf] of the Authority [National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways)], the Bid Due Date on the above subject was 6th June, 2014 (upto 1100 hours) and Opening of Technical Bids at venue was 6th June, 2014 at 1130 hours.

 

2.      According to revised Request for Proposal (Letter of Invitation) dated 27th July, 2015 (Official Website Link of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) : http://www.nhai.org/procurement_current.asp) of the Authority [National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways)], the Bid Due Date on the above subject was revised to 15th September, 2015 (upto 1100 hours) and Opening of Technical Bids at venue was revised to 15th September, 2015 at 1130 hours. 

 

3.      National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways), vide letter No. NHAI/Delhi-Hapur/Pkg-I/2015/25 dated 8th September, 2015, had extended the Bid Due Date on the above subject to 15th October, 2015 (upto 1100 hours) and Opening of Technical Bids at venue to 15th October, 2015 at 1130 hours.

 

4.      National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways), vide letter No. NHAI/Delhi-Hapur/Pkg-I/2015/25 dated 9th October, 2015, had again extended the Bid Due Date on the above subject to 2nd November, 2015 (upto 1100 hours) and Opening of Technical Bids at venue to 2nd November, 2015 at 1130 hours.

 

5.      Let's hope that National Highways Authority of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) will not give any further extension on the above subject so that the work can be started for the widening of NH-24 soon without any delay as considerable delay has already occurred in this regard.
