Ghaziabad जिला बनेगा हाइवे ऑफ़ इंडिया
According to a news from Amar Ujaala, Ghaziabad will be connect with 7 highway/expressway within 5-7 years, which will make it an important business city.
The work is already started for:
1. Ganga-Canal Highway : 8 Lanes, work started
2. Merut Expressway : Work to be started, target 3 years
3. Ghaziabad - Greater Noida Expressway : Verge of completion, 2 KM left
4. Taz Expressway - Land is being acquired.
5. Dadri-Hapud Expressway: Alignment work started, to be completed in 3 years
6. Eastern peripheral Expressway: 135 KM, Land acquisition is almost completed.
Although the ground work for this proposal is yet to start, but this is a very positive news for residents of Ghaziabad.

By When, we cant say.. as UP govt is more busy in creating Elephant.... so even though they spare some time for this, they will fall short of money :P
