[Mahagunpuram] Sharing of Observation and Concern

Sharing of Observation and  Concern
One observation  which  I like to share with  all of  you is that there is not as much unity and support forthcoming even on issues of common interest and the drift is evident. I would like to emphasise that on such issues, we can do very little individually as against what we can do and achieve collectively.
It really baffles me that even on issue like registry, where as of now, it seems that we can save a decent amount if we decide to get it done through an external source. If our number is large, we can ensure that the advocate renders prompt, satisfactory and hassle free service to us. Our number is our strength. We seem to be giving up even before starting. My flat possession is still couple of months away, still I  and many others are as active and taking as much interest if not more, as perhaps flat owners of Saraswati n siddhi  blocks. In fact it  heartening to note that.
Builder is under obligation to extend  the legitimate cooperation to us and please note it is by no means a favour. Agreement does not say that we must get the registry done through him.
Similarly, it is mandatory and not discretionary on the part of builder to obtain Building completion certificate before issuing possession letter and in any case before occupancy. It is in our interest as it means the building is safe and fit for living.
There are concerns about security which I have brought in one of my mail, but none has responded to that as if it is a trivial issue.
We need to have written assurance from the builder that all the remaining works in the flats offered for possession would be completed by a given date to our satisfaction, without our vigorous follow up so that we can plan our date of shifting to our flats.
The issue regarding  charging of Rs 20000/ by builder , not provided in the Agreement, has been laid to rest and accepted as fate accomplice.
Deficiencies do not discharge the   builder of  his obligations. We respect the builder and are only asking him, what he is in any case obliged to do, if not for us, at least  for the sake of his own reputation, which had prompted us to buy the flat. I must add that my experience with the builder so far has been fairly good.
I once again like to urge upon everyone that we need to be together and take a totality view rather than a piecemeal view, if we wish to make the entire process of possession smooth, timely and hassle free.
