We are all one facing the same situation by and large....Howver
- Delay is quite normal (if we compare viz a viz other builders/projects) - Penalty chq's are given - i dont know any builder in Ghaziabad/Indirapuram area who has done this so timely - Pricing is apt as per quality of material , pls visit Ansal project next to Mahagun ..it wil dig holes in ur pocket..
Interest charges asked by builders is a routine activity done by all however not all builders are so open to considerations/waivers as Mahagun is..
Being in banking industry for 10 yrs now , i can tell you he is probably class ONE builder in the region with...
Have faith, and lets hope the project gets completed on time as rental costs has actually gone way to high these days..
Probably Mr. Arora is correct. And one more thing, more & more negative advertisement makes it difficult for builder to find new buyers, resulting in scarcity of fundings & ultimately delay in project completion.
Rather than penalising (in monetary terms), we should organise ourselves so that we can ourself negotiate with the builder for all construction / possession related issues.

I think we should also move to consumer forum for Mahagunpuram project as builder is cheating with us.
